I'm falling a little behind on my holiday blogging. Today is National Sibling Day. I facebooked my brother.
Ash Wednesday I sat by a fire blazing, saw the moon rise and set above the ocean.
I'm going to my old family's late-Passover this weekend, went to a community seder Saturday night and lit candles, fixed a seder plate, made matzoh ball soup and read Exodus by myself on the full moon Friday for the first night of Passover. Following the commandments gives me a sense of order I guess. I thought about the ways that I have freed myself. I'm don't think I've quite made it to the promised land, but my desert wandering is full of dancing and tambourines.
I met a new family on Easter and wanted to eat a yummy looking Christian baby.
I think the autumn holidays of Thanksgiving and Atonement suit my disposition better, but my world is full of colorful flowers and the sun sure is nice when it shines.
