Christians must see that the 2018 descendants of Noah are doing a pretty bad job of protecting nature's creation from extinction.

We should face facts, Christendom as expressed by the Republican Party of the USA is a corrupt and sad enterprise. That is not to say that the teachings of Jesus Christ are not important and revolutionary. But look what happens to the followers--the US was on the path to righteousness but JFK, Bobbie, Malcolm and Martin were all assassinated. Money has taken over the government again. We fought back against greed once before.

Now, Democrats have been pragmatically sidled up with power and support the military industrial complex's culture of death. More AIPAC than J Street. Attack before you get attacked. Machiavellian thinking. Why would the best and the brightest sign up for a Kamikaze mission?

We're past the point of nature's devastation, but maybe not of no return.

This morning I awoke to the message in a dream that TIME IS SHORT AND PRECIOUS. As with other gifts, I've squandered a lot of time.

Eventually, I'd like my new calendar to be part of a new religion. A handbook or path to living as a human being. But that is a sort of theoretic goal.

Taking care of my body could be a better first step. That's why Yoga always made sense to me.

Another theoretic goal I'm having trouble following all the time is a music version of the Bechdel test, not seeing any band of 4 or more that doesn't have a woman in it.

Whoosh, a whole week freed up.

Cold on the East Coast. Turning into Cali up here.

The only constant is change.

My new obsession is youtube astrology tarot readings. I think I like the ones that only show the reader's hands better than the ones that show the face.

Music morning and night. I can't think of anything better, more nourishing and uplifting than music. We need air, water, and fuel. To give back tunes, beats, lyrics, and harmony is a fair exchange to the universe. I'm just a consumer not creator. I don't think Karaoke counts as making music.

Thinking of a wonderful woman who died yesterday circled by the love of friends.

Clear sky tonight. Lots of stars.

The USA opened today to ensure that Communism is stamped out in America. Mike Pence is taking over! Roger Stone has a tattoo of Richard Nixon.

I forgot some stuff that happened yesterday. Didn't recognize an email I sent. But some things I play over and over.

First Gen students need more than free tuition

Ouch! I just smashed my finger on this laptop in a weird way. How could one light fleeting gesture cause so much pain? All this is typed with just 9 digits.

In my new calendar, I'm thinking 3 6 day weeks with 4 days on 2 days off and then one long weekend of 3 days a month.

Mike Pence stages a coup in Venezuela while Trump is starving out US federal employees. Masters of war are not going gentle into the good night. Hmmm, how naive am I to hope for a socialist to step in with health, education, and welfare for all? What should I be doing to make my dream come true?

THE SPECIALS - (Dawning Of A) New Era (Live In Paris) (2014) (HD)

1/4

Back to work after the NYE (new year and era) holiday. It was one of those wind almost strong enough to blow you off the bridge days. Did you know that some people hate windchimes?

Season 2 of Friends from College is resonating with my life on this (altcal) 1/22/19. The Atlantic City pollution is tragic.

Wavering between worry about the future and shame about the past I find it hard to know what's best to know what to do now. I'm footloose and fancy free.

The new 19 day 19 month calendar will make months go by more quickly, but there will be more of them. Monthly checks, monthly bills. A new calendar (newcal) is a good way to mark the dawning of a new era.

Bright sunshiney day. We remember King. His dream our dream, not a reality. Giant step forward scissors step back. It's also the day we remember Jim Boyer's life and death. Also Tu B'Shevat, the birthday of the trees. Watching the eclipse last night I realized just how short my attention span has gotten. Once the clouds cleared and I could see the refilling of the hidden circle in the sky, I got distracted from watching. I'd like to get better at just watching time pass through nature.

Today is the big blood full moon eclipse. Planets are aligning. An auspicious way to start a new era. Erev Tu B'Shevat.
There has been a lot of tension building up. Contentious issues. I believe there is truth--Emet. You can try to not face it; pretend it isn't there. But just like with God, the truth doesn't care if we believe in it or not. It is multifaceted, appearing different depending on your perspective. But there it is, the huge elephant in the room. We might not see the elephant, but we can smell the dung from far away.

Right now, one truth is that human society is on the wrong track. The most powerful leaders are corrupt and failing in their responsibility to protect life on earth. Unfortunately, we need to change course but the old guard will put up a fight. There may not be enough time just to wait for their demise. At a minimum, those of us who see the light must stop following the materialistic death cult culture of domination and greed and turn towards love and harmony. Going in another direction can be hard when forces seek to keep us in line. Hopefully new leaders will emerge to embolden and inspire the people to push past oppression, inertia, and despair.

The New Calendar starts today. Day 1-19 months of 19 days. January Day One

Hello! This new calendar system will be more efficient and mathematical. 19 squared with a bonus day every so often is better than our 12 months of varying size.

I guess for simplicity's sake, I'll just use the same names for the first 12 months as we're using currently. That could change. If someone makes a good case for why a month should be named something particular, I am very flexible.

January February March April May June July August September October November December Ooowee Herewego Wednesmonth ThirstyThursmonth Friedisyum Wandermonth Finale
