After work I went to the Melting Pot with Lori and had some organic beer in nice tall glasses. I had what was called lobster shrimp and caviar puffs but was really cream cheese in a little puff pastry and picked up the tab for my drinks and Lori's wine. The bartender is her friend. I think his name is Bruce.
The place is sort of dungeoney and I wondered whether there would be a big snowy storm when we emerged. But instead most of the ice and snow was melted. We walked over to Clyde Common where she paid for the drinks and my apple bacon tart; and then to Touche where I didn't stay long, but which looked like a nice place.
